Stopped by Leaf and Petal after hours and got lucky — they had a number of plants out front I could browse even with the store closed. Really impressed by the Japanese maple selection: the common varieties, but also some genuinely rare finds you don't see everywhere. Prices weren't cheap, but they were fair for the quality on offer. This is a great little neighborhood nursery, and I'm looking forward to going back during business hours to see the full selection and talk with the staff. Pleasantly surprised and would recommend to any plant folks in the area.

The most BEAUTIFUL venue in all of Birmingham and the most INCREDIBLE staff!! We had the pleasure of hosting our wedding reception in the greenhouse, a place my husband and I have shopped at countless times. The plants, lighting, music, and seating made for the most intimate and beautiful night. Gloria, our venue attendant, went above and beyond to ensure we had a seamless night. The care she put into setting up table decor and floral arrangements, directing caterers, and assisting guests far surpassed our expectations, and she was a joy to work with! We are already looking for another reason to host an event at Leaf and Petal and would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place to have an intimate and enchanting dinner party!!

I had such a great experience today on my first visit to Leaf & Petal I just had to write a review for others. Members of the staff acknowledged us right away and asked how they could help us. They took us around the shop to help us find the plants we were looking for as well as make some suggestions. They also gathered together all the plants we were purchasing and brought them to the checkout and then to our car. They were so helpful and knowledgeable we look forward to coming back again.
